Position Responsibilities

  • Obtain medical histories when necessary.

  • Perform physical exams (within established protocol).

  • Diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines).

  • Order diagnostic tests.

  • Prescribe or recommend medications for treatment (within protocol guidelines).

  • Assist providers with clinic procedures and consults as necessary.

  • Maintain patient s privacy and confidentiality.

  • Make follow-up calls to check patient progress.

  • Consult with doctor regarding patient symptoms to assure proper diagnosis and plan of treatment.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing
  • 1-3 years previous experience in acute care or primary care setting or Equivalent RN experience
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner, Certificate of fitness through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Licensed as an RN in the state of TN, and Licensed as a CRNP in state of TN, required.
  • AHA BLS required

Compensation Information:
$48.26 / Hourly - $56.84 / Hourly
