We are seeking an experienced Ob/Gyn physician to lead our Wesson Women s Clinic located at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of 24 OB/GYN residents and 4 advanced practitioners, delivering compassionate, community-based ambulatory OB/GYN care to a diverse and underserved patient population with complex medical and social needs.
  • Serve as a champion for health equity, advocating for diversity, inclusion, and culturally responsive care while fostering deep community engagement and outreach.
  • Collaborate with the Division Chief of OB/GYN to shape strategic priorities and innovative programs that address population health and improve outcomes for marginalized communities.
  • Blend hands-on clinical care with the teaching and mentorship of residents, fellows, and medical students through a faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School Baystate.

  • Full-time position includes participation in in-hospital obstetrics and gynecology call on a rotating basis.

Qualifications: ABMS BC in Ob/Gyn. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with evidence of progressive management responsibilities and leadership in an academic department. Demonstrable record of collaboration, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, academic productivity, enthusiasm for medical education and mentoring faculty and ability to engage a broad base of potential stakeholders to work towards a shared vision.
