• 7-day coverage blocks (7am - 7am) with 10-hour shifts plus night call
• 5 - 20 patients per day
• NCC midlevel provider support during shifts
• Light night call coverage intensivist team handles most issues
• Procedures include vent management, line placement, and occasional LPs
• One week per month scheduling pattern
• Coordinates with case management for discharge planning
• Accepts referrals and provides consulting services
