- This role combines both outpatient clinical care and surgical responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive eye care to a diverse and underserved population. Preferred Experience: - Proficiency in cataract surgery (phacoemulsification) and common anterior segment procedures.
- Ability to manage a full-spectrum ophthalmology caseload independently.
- Experience in or willingness to work in a rural or medically underserved setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach.
- Interest in mentoring or training staff or students
- Perform comprehensive ophthalmologic exams and provide diagnosis and management of eye diseases and visual disorders.
- Conduct surgical procedures, including (but not limited to) cataract extraction, eyelid surgeries, laser treatments, and other anterior segment surgeries.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
- Provide routine and urgent care for conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and trauma-related ocular injuries.
Compensation & Benefits: - Base salary $246,000 - $650,000 (full-time)
