Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic & Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
On-Call: Minimal, shared within the orthopedic APP team
About the Opportunity A leading orthopedic practice in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join its surgical and outpatient care team. Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: $140,000 $180,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Opportunity: Productivity-based bonus model with potential total earnings up to $225,000 annually

Key Responsibilities - Evaluate and manage orthopedic conditions through physical exams and individualized treatment plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including joint injections, wound care, and follow-up appointments
- Assist with surgical procedures in the ASC as needed
- Round on post-operative patients and support hospital discharge planning
- Respond to urgent patient needs and triage incoming calls and concerns
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery timelines
- Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly in the EMR
- Collaborate closely with physicians, surgical staff, and care coordinators to ensure continuity of care
Who We re Looking For - Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Physician Assistant program (Puerto Rico-based programs are not eligible)
- Active, unrestricted Arizona license to practice as a PA
- NP First Assist training preferred (per AORN standards, if applicable)
- Orthopedic or surgical experience required.
- Strong clinical communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail
