Position Highlights:

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program/school
- Active pharmacy license in any U.S. state
- Minimum of 2 years' pharmacy experience
- Outpatient experience strongly preferred
- Prior IHS or federal facility experience is a plus
- Must be able to pass a federal background check

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret and fill provider prescriptions for outpatients
- Dispense medications with clear, culturally sensitive patient counseling
- Monitor medication effectiveness and adherence through patient assessments
- Manage outpatient pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with storage and handling standards
- Provide clinical guidance on safe medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions
- Work closely with medical staff to support continuity of care across the health center

Requirements
- Be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program/school
- Previous contract experience is a plus
- Previous IHS facility experience helpful
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Have a Pharmacist degree from a school of pharmacy approved by a state-accrediting agency
- Possess a current, active, unrestricted license from any of the 50 United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia.
- Maintain continuing education/certification
- Must be a US citizen, living primarily in the United States
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist within the past 36 months
- References required
- Must meet all credentialing and background investigation requirements.
