SCHEDULE AND CASE DETAILS

Clinical excellence is essential in our fast-paced and medically directed environment that includes all types of cases except liver/heart/lung transplant and pediatric pump cases. In addition, pediatric applicants should be eager to provide adult care. Lots of opportunities for utilization of regional skills as well. We are a team system and provide mentoring in areas that need to be strengthened or require more experience.
Call shifts are a mix of pediatric (mostly) and general - call averages to 1 day/week and 1 weekend per month. Some in-house overnight shifts with pre and post-call day off. Majority of rest of call is pediatric backup (late person with back up at home on pager after 7pm). Post-call day is early out.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

All physician applicants must be board certified/board eligible, have completed or are about to complete their anesthesia residency, and are in pursuit of a Pediatric Fellowship (to receive educational assistance). We are open to helping support a resident who intends to pursue pediatric fellowship and can make a professional commitment to the group. Strong communication and teamwork skills are desired.
