Cohen Children s Medical Center, The Department of Pediatrics of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell seek a Board Certified Pediatric Hepatologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Liver Transplant program.
Our program is at the forefront of pediatric hepatology, offering comprehensive care for children with both transplant and non-transplant liver diseases. Our multidisciplinary team consists of medical and surgical specialists that includes advanced pediatric biliary endoscopy, pediatric and liver pathologists, pediatric and interventional radiology, nursing, and social work to ensure that each child receives personalized, top-notch care.

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition includes 16 full time faculty members as well as an ACGME approved Fellowship program. The Division includes a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, advance practice nurses, dieticians and social worker. Expertise in IBD, Pediatric Hepatology, intestinal rehabilitation, nutrition disorders, a comprehensive aerodigestive program and advanced biliary endoscopy are among other well-developed programs fully supported by a multi-specialty, cohesive team approach. There is a long-standing clinical research program that now includes three research coordinators.

Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners, the seventh largest medical group in the country. Appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor will be provided, commensurate with experience, training, academic portfolio, and teaching activities.
