As a pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities include
- Well Baby Nursery Rounding
- Conducting thorough medical examinations, including growth and development assessments, to diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions.
- Providing preventive care, vaccinations, and immunizations to promote overall health and prevent illnesses.
- Evaluating and managing acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections in pediatric patients.
- Developing personalized treatment plans and monitoring patients' progress over time, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Educating parents and caretakers on child health, nutrition, safety, and other relevant topics.
- Conducting screenings for developmental delays, behavioral issues, and mental health concerns, and providing appropriate referrals and interventions.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
- Staying informed about the latest medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and pediatric research. Adhering to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
Qualifications - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, parents, and healthcare team members.
- Empathy and patience when working with children and their families.
Compensation Information:
$122.19 / Hourly - $129.38 / Hourly
