Pediatrics Physician

Location: Jersey City, NJ
Start Date: November 10, 2025
End Date: May 10, 2026 (ongoing coverage possible)
Schedule: 10 shifts/month (including 3 weekend days)

• Onsite: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Call: 4:00 PM 8:00 AM

Assignment Overview

• Inpatient pediatric hospital medicine coverage
• Cover pediatric hospitalist beds, nursery, and deliveries
• Work closely with NICU team as backup
• No procedures required

Clinical Details

• Patient Load: daily
• Trauma Level: II
• EMR: Epic (inpatient only)
• Work Model: Solo provider with NICU physician support
• APPs present; locums not responsible for oversight

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics (required)
• Active New Jersey medical license
• Ability to cover onsite + call responsibilities
• Must be available for a minimum of 10 shifts per month (3 weekends included)
