Job Description

Job Title: Permanent Dentist

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Location: Frederick. MD

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, diagnostic reviews (including X-rays), and develop individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions—ranging from plaque and decay to complex restorative procedures like crowns, bridges, and implants
• Perform clinical procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, prosthetics, and whitening treatments
• Administer anesthesia and prescribe medication as needed for patient comfort and treatment efficacy
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and the importance of oral-systemic health
• Collaborate with the dental team—hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff—to deliver seamless care.
• Promote patient-first values by explaining procedures, addressing fears, and offering multiple treatment options.
• Ensure accurate and thorough patient record-keeping—treatment notes, X-rays, and histories.
• Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain equipment according to best practices

Qualifications & Skills

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid dental license to practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain licensure).
• Strong clinical capabilities across general dentistry procedures, including restorative and preventive treatments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills—empathetic, clear communicator, and patient-focused.
• Detail-oriented with strong diagnostic and treatment planning capabilities
• Commitment to continuing education and staying current in dental practices and technology
