Job Summary The Physical Therapist is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for helping individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities improve movement, reduce pain, and restore physical function. This role is integral to the rehabilitation and recovery process, focusing on designing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal patient health, mobility, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive assessments including medical history, physical examination, and standardized testing. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with specific, measurable goals based on individual patient assessments and clinical findings. Apply a range of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation), stretching, and strengthening exercises to enhance recovery and physical function. Design and oversee exercise programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, coordination, endurance, and balance. Perform hands-on techniques like joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and myofascial release to improve mobility and decrease pain. Recommend, fit, and educate patients in the proper use of mobility aids and assistive devices (e.g., walkers, canes, orthotics) to enhance independence. Instruct patients and their families on treatment goals, rehabilitation plans, injury prevention, and long-term wellness practices. Administer non-invasive pain relief techniques, including cryotherapy, heat therapy, and neuromuscular stimulation to manage acute and chronic pain conditions. Advise patients, athletes, and at-risk populations on techniques and strategies to prevent future injuries and improve physical performance. Evaluate and document patients' responses to treatment, revising goals and plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery. Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in compliance with regulatory, legal, and insurance standards. Work in interdisciplinary teams with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated patient care. Participate in professional development, evidence-based practice initiatives, and research to stay current with advances in physical therapy. Manage administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and insurance documentation.
