Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists in providing high-quality therapy treatments and procedures
  • Support the development and execution of individualized treatment plans within state guidelines
  • Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques to promote recovery
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards
  • Collaborate effectively with the rehabilitation team to ensure optimal patient outcomes


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Vermont Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy evaluation, reassessment, and treatment techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outpatient or acute inpatient experience preferred
