Gastroenterologist Locums Job in New Mexico Starting ASAP + Ongoing Assignment

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a state of the art facility in central New Mexico that is seeking Gastroenterologist coverage ASAP and ongoing. Clinic and procedure focused with some call coverage if you are open to that. Are you or a colleague already licensed in NM and available?

Job Requirements for Assignment :
- Active New Mexico license required
- Board Certification is required
- Will be a mix of clinic + outpatient procedures + hospital rounding; including occasional night call and weekend call (if you are open to taking call)
- Seeking a minimum of 2 weeks per month (open to more if you have the availability)
- Clinic in outpatient setting + procedures performed at the attached hospital
- 1-2 days of Clinic, 3-4 days of Procedures (days are based on OR availability)
- 13-14 patients per day in Clinic
- 18-20 patients per day on procedure days
- Procedures would be set up with existing patients that have been seen in clinic previously or direct procedures, but also patients that come into the system via ED and then get admitted for procedures by hospitalists/ED
- GI would occasionally help cover 2 other hospitals in the system if available (not all at the same time)
- 3 PA/NP, 2 RN, 2 MA
- EMR is Epic
