Specialty accepted: Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) Start date or shifts: ASAP ? Ongoing (1 year ending September 30, 2026) Daily schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Practice setting: Outpatient Clinic Types of procedures: Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans; urgent care cases may be seen but not required Number of patients: 20+ per day Ages: All ages Requirements: BLS, ACLS, DEA, Board Certified or Board Eligible; minimum 1 year experience preferred; Indian Health experience preferred; provider must not be opted out of Medicare Additional information: Long-term assignment with great schedule. Family Practice preferred due to patient population. Travel included. Credentialing timeframe is 30?60 days. Must complete full IHS Medical Staff Application with complete work history since graduation. Gaps greater than 30 days must be explained and verified. Must provide documentation of past insurance carriers, references, and board certification. Federal contract providers prescribing controlled substances must complete IHS Opioid Prescriber Training within 6 months and renew every 3 years. No malpractice. Previous IHS experience is a plus.
