Were seeking a passionate and driven Per Diem Physician to join our regional Neonatology team in Muskegon and Grand Rapids. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: Per Diem (0.0 )FTE
  • Schedule: 24-hour shifts as needed; full-time providers follow 7on/ 7 off model
  • Location: Grand Rapids and Muskegon, MI
  • Specialty: Neonatology
  • Hospital Info: Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
  • Team Size: 4 full-time physician providers
  • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
  • Call Requirements: call only applicable when working stretch of on days

Requirements

  • Physicians: Board certified or board eligible (must become certified within 2 years)
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
