Specialty accepted: Diagnostic Radiologist Start date or shifts: ASAP ongoing Daily schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, rotation of two weeks on and one week off, no call Practice setting: Hospital onsite Types of procedures: General radiology including plain films, fluoroscopy (general, modified barium swallow, hysterosalpingogram), bone density scans, GI and GU exams, IVP, ultrasound (abdomen, pelvis, vascular, arterial Doppler, renal, OB, thyroid, gynecologic), nuclear medicine, PET/CT, thyroid treatment, musculoskeletal, neuro, renal, CT (head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, joints, extremities, CTA), MRI (neuro, chest, spine, joints, extremities, MRA), limited interventional radiology (paracentesis, lumbar puncture, myelogram, arthrogram, dialysis access including declots, fistulograms, perm caths) Number of cases: Approximately 220 RVUs per 24 hours, distributed across modalities with majority in plain film, mammography, and CT Ages: All ages Requirements: Board certified radiologist, Kentucky license, radiology experience preferred though new graduates may be considered, proof of COVID vaccination or exemption required Additional information: PACS systems include Fuji, GE, Siemens, and Vista. Voice recognition reporting system available with templates. Credentialing timeframe is two weeks for temporary privileges with final approval by board. No supervision of advanced practice providers required.
