General Surgery Physician Locums Job in Nebraska Call Only December 22 December 28, 2025 Schedule/Availability Requirements: Shift Type: 24 Hour December 22 December 28; 7a - 7a Requirements: Board Certification Board Certified, Board Eligible NE State License OR IMLC (LOQ in hand) Completion of a General Surgery Residency Other Certifications ATLS Malpractice Clean Preferred Availability at time of name clear Case log from the previous 12 months of at least 100 surgical procedures of different scope and variety as to what is being requested, including trauma. Required Procedures: Basic general surgery procedures, comfortable with trauma Assignment Details: Surgeon to cover acute care surgery and trauma surgery, comfortable with all basic general surgical procedures Responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the general surgery or trauma service as well as any consult received Credentialling Timeframe: will expedite credentials at facility as long as all documents returns in a timely manner Setting: Acute Care inpatient/outpatient hospital. 159 bed facility Duties: 24/7 Trauma/Acute surgery call at level 3 trauma center EMR: Epic
