Urology Physician Inpatient Locums Job in Michigan Call Only Beginning October 2025 and Ongoing Assignment Shift Details: 24 hour beeper call coverage, response time to be onsite is within 20 minutes.? 10/9 orientation 10/10 (7a)-10/13 (7a) 12/24 (7a)-12/30 (7a) Ongoing Requirements: Board Certified Active Michigan State License only Fellowship preferred Assignment Details: EMR: Athena and Cerner Admissions required Credentialing Timeframe: 60 Days Trauma Level: 2 Required To Supervised Call Details: Typically, 2-4 calls per night ; 1-2 expected onsite call-ins. Patients Per Shift: approximately 1-5 Average Call Numbers per 24 Hours: 2-5 IP Physicians are not required to remain on-site while providing night or weekend call support but are required to round and discharge. When on call, should only be on site for call-back hours while providing direct care. Required to provide supporting notes on their timesheet entries to verify call-back hours. Must document on the timesheet the specific reason for the call-back and should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report was generated in an electronic health record. Telephone call and medical record reviews should not be considered on site call-back.
