Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide part-time outpatient coverage at a community health center located in Oakland, CA.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing (approx. 30 days)
  
• Estimated Assignment Length: 6 months (minimum 3-month commitment required)
• Schedule: 1 day per week to start; additional days may be added if child/adolescent services are introduced
• Hours: 8-hour day (approx. 10 patients/day)
• Call: No call
• Patient Type: Initially adults; children may be added later
• Patient Volume: 10 patients/day
• Visit Duration: 90 minutes (new patients), 60 minutes (follow-ups)
• Support Staff: Care coordinator on site
• EMR: OCHIN Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active California Medical License
• Active DEA
• BLS Certification
• Previous outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
