Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Shift: Day Shift: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

• We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide care in a correctional setting.
• The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with intra- and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and electronic health records.
• Responsibilities include conducting exams, writing evaluations and reports, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, managing medications, and making referrals for specialized care or treatment.
• The role also includes performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards.
• Participation in continuous quality improvement meetings, activities, and peer reviews is expected.
• The Psychiatrist will also engage in collaborative agreements as needed.

• Board Certification
• Active Ohio Medical License
• DEA Certification
