The ROLE
As a Psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, delivering clear, meaningful feedback to clients, families, schools, and partner agencies. You will provide therapeutic services to children and families through individual, group, and family modalities, using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute psychological insights to case discussions and help develop integrated, collaborative treatment plans that support client and family functioning. This is for a Full-Time permanent position (4 or 5 days per week position available)
You will act as a key liaison with community professionals and programs to ensure coordinated, holistic care. You’ll also play an active role in case coordination, uphold high standards of psychological practice, and support interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition to direct service, you’ll have the opportunity to supervise and mentor psychometrists, practicum students, psychologists in supervised practice, and graduate students in our CPA accredited Psychology Residency Program, contributing to professional development across the team.
Your role will include leading or co-facilitating workshops, offering consultation and educational support to external agencies, and contributing to program evaluation activities in collaboration with the Program Evaluation & Research Coordinator. A commitment to client safety, respect, and client- centered service planning—aligned with the organization’s values—is essential to your success in this role.
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a qualified, empathetic individual who possesses the following qualifications and skills.
Education:
Ph.D., or Psy.D., from a recognized university.
Active registration with the College of Psychologists and Behavior Analysts of Ontario
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of prior experience in psychological assessment and clinical treatment of children and youth.
Clinicians registered as a Psychologist in Autonomous or Supervised Practice will be considered.
Additional Requirements:
Access to reliable transportation in alignment with program needs.
Proficient in the use of technology as required of the position, including working in a virtual environment with MAC OS operating systems experience preferred.
The ability to work evenings as required.
Current (within three months) Criminal Reference check with Vulnerable Sector Search and after every three (3) months.
The ability to speak any second language is highly valued.
