Hours:
Option 1: Part Time (0.4FTE) Fixed Term until 30 June 2026 (Leave Cover)
Option 2: Part-Time (0.6FTE) Ongoing
Option 3: Full-Time (1FTE) = 0.4FTE Fixed Term (as above) + 0.6FTE Ongoing

About the Role:
As our Mental Health Clinician, you will provide focused psychological interventions in a primary care setting. This role involves supporting perinatal and infant mental health, delivering interventions from triage to suicide prevention, and planning and implementing assessments and treatments. Additionally, you will contribute to group program development, liaise with other professionals, and participate in individual care planning.
Experience Requirements:
- ·Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- A minimum 2 years’ experience working in the area of mental health – inclusive of perinatal, infant mental health and family wellbeing. (0-11yrs)
- A minimum 2-year relevant professional development and or supervision. ·
- Experience in delivery of individual and group therapy in the perinatal and family wellbeing (0-11yrs) space utilising evidence-based interventions. ·
- Experience in assessing and treating clients with a range of mental health and/or alcohol and other drug problems
Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Drivers Licence
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Qualified in one of the following disciplines, Mental Health Accreditation and membership to associated professional body; Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing.
Credential Requirements
Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist
- Approved Masters or equivalent in psychology, with experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.
- Registered as a psychologist with AHPRA.
Clinical Psychologist
- To be recognised as a clinical psychologist, personnel must meet requirements to have practice endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in specialist area of practice of clinical psychology.
Mental Health Nurse
- Mental Health Nurses must be accredited with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
- Experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.
Social Worker
- Approved degree in Social Work, eligibility for membership and Mental Health accreditation with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.
Occupational Therapist
- Registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Approved degree from a recognised School of Occupational Therapy.
- Experience of two (2) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.
