Locums - Interventional Radiologist (Diagnostic Radiology)Location: Dover & Milford, DelawareJob Type: Locum Tenens (IMLC Accepted)Facility Setting: HospitalEMR: EPICPACS: GE Universal Start Date: Immediate (as soon as credentialed)Duration: 1 year (with possible extension)Need 1 - 2 RadiologistSchedule & Coverage
  • Shift Schedule/hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm )(8hrs of work with 1 hr unpaid lunch in between)
  • Commitment: 1-2 weeks/month; ongoing coverage opportunity
  • Reason for Coverage: Gap coverage
Case Volume & Modalities
  • Cases 5-6 Interventional cases/day
  • Expected Read Types: 50-60 diagnostic reads, 5-10 CT, with some X-ray, Ultrasound and general
  • Radiology PA's assist with IR procedures and also have reading room assistants and after-hours nighthawk service
Candidate Requirements
  • Certifications: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (BC/BE)
  • Licensure: Active DE license or IMLC LOQ candidates accepted
    • CSR takes 4 weeks; DEA 1-2 weeks
  • ER Familiarity: Helpful but not requiredAdditional Notes
    • Duties include diagnostic radiology - not interventional only
    • Ideal for candidates comfortable reading independently in a high-volume setting
