Radiology - Interventional Physician

Coverage Needed:

• Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, including a lunch break
• Weeknight call: Overnight with beeper for consults; rarely requires going in
  • Weekend call: Optional
• Coverage Dates: As soon as credentialed, 1-2 weeks a month
• Multiple locations

Clinical Details:

• Support Staff: Radiology Physician Assistants for IR procedures, Reading Room Assistants, Nighthawk service for after-hours
• Team-based environment
• EMR: GE Universal PACs, PowerScribe 360 for voice recognition
• Daily Expectations: 50% Interventional Radiology (5-6 procedures per day), 50-60 diagnostic reads (5-10 CT, rest are x-ray, ultrasound, and general readings)
• Proficiency required in procedures: Bone biopsy, neph tube exchange, liver biopsies, angiogram

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Licensing candidates will be considered
• Vaccination requirements
• Proficiency in light IR procedures; complex procedures covered by IR docs
• General Radiologists capable of light IR will be considered
• Job requires minimal availability: 1-2 weeks a month
