University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

University Radiology is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse for our Somerset, NJ Imaging Office. 

40 hours/week (either 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts); occasional shifts in our Metuchen Office to cover PTO; every other Thursday in our East Brunswick Office. 

• Must have emergency procedure skills and experience to assist radiologists.
• Assists the radiologist in performing fluoroscopic and invasive procedures on patients of all ages. Remain alert to the patient’s physical conditions, recognizing signs of distress and initiates prescribed emergency procedures.
• Has a capable knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the procedures performed.
• Assures the continued safe operation of emergency equipment.

• IV and CPR-BLS certifications are required
• Critical care, emergency medicine and/or radiology nursing experience is preferred 
• NJ state RN license
• ACLS, PALS certifications
