This includes responding to medical needs, arranging healthcare, managing medications, overseeing incident reports for health-related events, and being part of the on-call rotation for residential homes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Medical Response Respond to medical issues in person or by phone during on-call shifts Assess health concerns and decide if a doctor, emergency care, or follow-up is needed Provide treatment or first aid until advanced care arrives Medical Appointment Management Schedule and track medical, dental, and specialty appointments Prepare paperwork and medical history for visits Share doctor's orders with the care team and ensure follow-up Medication Management Check all pharmacy deliveries for accuracy Administer medications as prescribed and in compliance with regulations Update records when medications change Monitor medication administration by staff Oversee controlled substance handling and documentation Incident Management Serve as coordinator for medical incidents such as injuries or hospital visits Complete reports on time and ensure follow-up Track incident trends and work on improvement plans On-Call Duties Provide nursing guidance to staff after hours Offer phone triage and decide if in-person care or EMS is needed Compliance & Documentation Keep accurate nursing records in line with regulations and agency policy Help with audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews Schedule We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran any other characteristic protected by law Part-time, up to 25 hours per week Flexible hours depending on appointments and on-call needs Evening, weekend, and holiday on-call work may be required
