The South Peninsula Hospital is a combined 22-bed Acute Care Critical Access Hospital and 28-bed Long Term Care facility located at the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula in South-Central Alaska. The 22-bed Acute Care department includes 2 ICU beds. Nurses experience a close-knit, team-based environment with the flexibility to float between units as needed.
Due to the nature of the work, there is exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and potential for needle-stick injuries-strict adherence to safety protocols is essential.
