Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans. The RN collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, supervises nursing staff, ensures patient safety, and promotes quality outcomes through critical thinking and clinical judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect relevant health information.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Supervise and delegate duties to nursing staff appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current CPR Certification (or BLS per facility policy).
• Experience in an acute care hospital is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous acute care nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
