Boone Memorial Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department or similar acute care setting. Our Emergency Department is a vital component of our hospital system, providing high-quality care to patients in urgent need.

Required:
Active West Virginia Registered Nursing License
BLS certification
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department or similar acute care setting
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and effective care
Preferred:
ACLS and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain – training provided)
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with the nursing process
Assess, triage, and monitor patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care
Accurately document patient information using electronic medical records
Respond to emergency situations and code calls promptly and effectively
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
