Registered Nurse Tier 1

Manages individualized, goal‑directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures.

Minimum Education: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred. AS in Nursing Required
• BS or MS in Nursing is preferred

Minimum Work Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience is preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications: 

• Current state registration or eligibility to do so
• BLS by 30 days of employment
• ACLS and PALS by the end of first year of employment
• TNCC, ENPC, or CEN is preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:  

• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.
