Position: Respiratory Therapist Shift: 4x12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Day/Night) On-Call/Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend; holidays as needed Contract Type: Local Candidates Only (within miles of facility) Position Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in: Trauma Emergency Room (ER) Adult ICU Equipment Experience (Preferred): Puritan Bennett Draeger Servo I EvitaXL Viasys Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) DC RRT License (State of DC) CRT or RRT credentials ACLS preferred First-time travelers accepted - candidates will be screened Facility Information: Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital Reputation: Recognized as one of the Top 50 Heart and Vascular Centers in the country Total Staffed Beds: 748 Charting System: Cerner Scrubs: Not provided - RRTs must wear Olive Green scrubs Vaccination Requirement: Flu vaccine required for all employees
