Position: Night Nurse Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM Days Off: Sunday/Monday and Tuesday/Wednesday (alternating) New Graduates Welcome to Apply! Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Night Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care to our residents during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Medication & Treatment Administration Administer medications and treatments safely and on time, in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures. Documentation & Communication Accurately document resident care and condition; communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and external healthcare settings to ensure continuity of care while complying with HIPAA regulations. Assessment & Reporting Perform resident assessments, prepare incident and infection control reports, and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives as needed. Supervision of Support Staff Oversee and support nursing assistants during the shift to ensure high standards of care are met and policies are followed. Conflict Resolution & Training Address work-related issues, answer questions related to resident care, and assist with on-the-job training and guidance for staff. Resident Advocacy Act as an advocate for residents, honoring their rights, preferences, and care directives while promoting a respectful and safe environment. Professional Conduct Maintain a professional demeanor and positive interactions with residents, families, staff, visitors, and vendors. Always protect the confidentiality of residents' health information. Care Planning & Updates Initiate, review, and update resident care plans regularly based on clinical findings and physician input. Record Keeping Ensure timely and accurate charting of care provided and changes in resident condition. Other Duties Perform additional duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
