Sterile Processing Instructor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Sterile Processing professional to instruct students in a New Jersey–based training program. The instructor will provide classroom and hands-on instruction aligned with New Jersey healthcare employer expectations and national certification standards.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Sterile Processing topics including infection prevention, decontamination, assembly, sterilization methods, and sterile storage
• Instruct according to program curriculum and NJ workforce expectations
• Prepare students for national certification exams (CRCST or equivalent)
• Provide practical, hands-on lab instruction using industry-standard equipment
• Monitor student attendance, progress, and competencies in compliance with NJ regulations
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment

Qualifications (NJ-Compliant):

• Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in Sterile Processing within a healthcare facility
• Current CRCST certification (HSPA) preferred
• Knowledge of New Jersey Department of Health and healthcare facility standards
• Teaching or training experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
