Adelphi is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide highly advanced therapeutic services in a residential healthcare settingin Angelina County, Texas.The OT will perform assessments, deliver treatment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve and maintain the functional abilities of individuals with developmental disabilities.Job Quick Facts:Reference #:BD-673-37 Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Occupational Therapist Location: East Texas (exact facility not disclosed) Facility Type: Residential/Supported Living Coverage Type: On-Site Job Type: Contract Contract Duration: 6 months Schedule: 8:00 am 5:00 pm, MondayFriday Start Date: Immediate Compensation: $50$55/hr Requirements: Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program Current Texas OT license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure) NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) Completion of Level I and Level II fieldwork Ability to pass background checks and fitness-to-practice requirements 12+ years of experience; prior work in residential care or developmental disability settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skillsResponsibilities: Perform and interpret OT assessments and render therapeutic/consultative services Deliver treatment in wound care, mobility, pain management, restorative care, and orthotics/positioning. Plan, develop, and implement complex treatment protocols and nutritional management programs Track and analyze therapy data, outcomes, and service delivery metrics Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IDT), contribute to individual support plans (ISP) Provide staff training, mentoring, and support for therapeutic devices/strategies Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives at the facility and state levels May supervise departmental staff as assigned
