Traveling Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/OA)

Registered Dental Assistant or (OA) 

Summary: The  Ortho ot (OA) Registered Dental Assistant supports Ortho dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. 

Traveling Position, Mileage and Shift Differential Pay given in addition to hourly pay in accordance to company policy 

This is a traveling position to work out of our San Bernardino, Victorville, Glendora, and Moreno Valley offices.

Pay Range: $22.00  -$27.00  (based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Assists the doctor in procedures 

• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays 
• Prophy teeth 
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene 
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor 
• Sterilizes instruments 

• Setup and prepares rooms for ortho treatment 
• Take IO's 
• Charting 

Education and/or Experience:  

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  

• California Registered Dental Assistant License 
• X-Ray Certification 

• Coronal Polish Certification required  
• Current BLS certification
