Job Summary: To provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Urgent Care.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver competent urgent or emergent nursing care to a diverse patient population of all ages, acuities and conditions within the population served by the facility.
Week 1: Mon 3P - 1130P, Tue 3P - 1130P, Sat 9A - 530P: Week 2: Sun 9A - 530P, Thu 3P - 1130P, Fri 3P - 1130P Basic Qualifications: Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a registered nurse in an emergency room, urgent care, or acute care environment is required.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
License, Certification, Registration
- This job requires credentials from multiple states. Credentials from the primary work state are required at hire. Additional Credentials from the secondary work state(s) are required post hire.
- Registered Nurse License (Virginia) within 6 months of hire AND Registered Nurse License (Maryland) within 6 months of hire
OR
- Compact License: Registered Nurse within 6 months of hire
- Registered Nurse License (District of Columbia) within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 3 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 3 months of hire
Additional Requirements:
- Proficient in use of applicable computer software required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IV therapy is preferred.
- BSN is preferred.
