Urgent Care Physician Assistant

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Wound Care team in O'Fallon, IL, as a PRN Wound Care Provider. HSHS St. Francis Hospital works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights:- Well established Wound Care Clinic with Healogics partnership- PRN schedule with Monday - Friday hours Weekly shifts/hours available will vary based on PRN needs.- EPIC EMR- Clinic is within the hospital, providing access to all imaging, labs, scans, etc. needed.- Ample training time provided with Wound Care teamPosition Requirements:- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start- Board Certified APRN or Physician Assistant- 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred. Experience in Wound Care is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered.

Education Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
• Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
• Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
• Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
• Federal DEA license is preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
