Urgent Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking 8 providers with Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine provider to cover Monday - Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM . We are flexible and can accommodate both full-time (12+ shifts per month) and part-time (6+ shifts per month) commitments. A minimum consistent availability of 3 shifts per month is required for consideration. - $175/hr

This role involves travel between our sites All locations are within a 30-mile radius.

Coverage Need Details: 8 providers with urgent care or emergency medicine experience to cover Mon-Sun 8a-8p. Looking for FT 12+ shifts per month or PT 10+ shifts per month

You will be managing a diverse range of urgent care cases, including:

• Cold/flu symptoms
• Rashes
• Abrasions
• Lacerations
• Sprains
• Minor burns

You will also be expected to perform:

• Suturing/Wound Care/I&Ds
• Splinting (orthopedic procedures)
• X-Rays/EKGs
• Drawing Blood/IVs

High acuity cases will be referred to the local Emergency Room. You must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages and working independently .

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care
• OR minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency medicine
• Skills: Must be comfortable with orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care.
• EMR System: Proficiency with Epic EMR system is required.
• NPDB self query MUST be submitted with presentation to be considered
  
• Provider must be willing to work independently (no supervision)
• MUST be open to travel between sites

Travel Notes: For providers who need airfare:

- MUST fly in the day before a shift - preferably by afternoon

- MUST have block of back-to-back shifts - preferably 4 in a row

- If lodging approval is needed, MUST have secured booking 2 weeks prior to confirmed shift

• Boards Accepted: If ABEM 1yr of experience
• If ABFM or ABIM 2yrs of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care
