Urgent Care Physician Assistant

We're looking for an experienced Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine provider to cover Monday - Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM . We offer flexibility for both full-time (12+ shifts per month) and part-time (6+ shifts per month) commitments. A minimum consistent availability of 3 shifts per month is required.

This role involves travel between our primary site and other one, with all locations no more than 30 miles apart.

You'll manage a wide array of urgent care cases, including:

• Cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
• Performing splints, X-rays/EKGs, drawing blood, and Incision & Drainage (I&D) procedures .

Anything high acuity will be referred to the local Emergency Room. You must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages and performing orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care .

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care
• OR minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency medicine
• Provider must be willing to work independently (no supervision)
• NPDB self query MUST be submitted with presentation to be considered
• Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC)
• EMR System: Proficiency with Epic EMR system is required.

Certification:-

• Boards Accepted: If ABEM 1yr of experience
• If ABFM or ABIM 2yrs of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care
