A leading partner hospital is looking for a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Edmond, OK. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat urgent care cases in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Provide medical care to animals requiring immediate attention, including emergency surgeries when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to deliver optimal care for patients.
- Maintain organized medical records and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, offering clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and outcomes.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have:
- A DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Oklahoma (or the ability to obtain one).
- Previous experience in urgent care medicine is preferred, but not required.
- A strong commitment to high-quality veterinary care and client service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced environment.
