A partner hospital in Austin, TX is looking for a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a DVM seeking a challenging and rewarding career in an urgent care setting. Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care to animals requiring immediate medical attention.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries.
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their pets receive the best care possible.
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of veterinary medicine.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
