Urology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Urologist to work locum shifts in the Eureka, California (CA) area. Starting in November 2025. The role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Urology Role:

• Coverage Needed:
  • November 24-30, 2025 (Thanksgiving)
  • December 22, 2025 - January 4, 2026 (Christmas & New Year)
• 2026 Dates:
  • January 19-26
  • February 9-16
  • March 23-30
  • April 21-29
  • May 26-June 2
  • June 22-29

• Clinic Hours:
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Call Coverage:
• 7-10 days/month including weekends
• Weekday call: Night coverage following clinic hours
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage

Procedures:

• General Adult Urology, Endoscopic, Laparoscopic, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, Ureteroscopy, Radical Cystectomy & Prostatectomy. Nephrectomy, Renal & Bladder Surgery, TRUS, Fertility, Incontinence

Required Equipment Experience:

• GOBY Urodynamics System
• Olympus Flexible & Rigid Scopes
• Rectal Ultrasound for TRUS Biopsy
• Fiduciary Marker Placement
• Medivator Sterilization System

EMR Systems: Office/Clinic: Allscripts

• Hospital: Meditech

Required:

• CA state license; active, unrestricted
• BC/BE in Urology
• DEA, BLS, CA FLURO
• Current Surgical Logs required for presentation.
