Locum Urologist - Clinic, OR, and Call Coverage

Coverage Type: Ambulatory Clinic, Operating Room (OR), Hospital Call, and Emergent Needs

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call coverage (specific weekend rotation to be determined)
• Weekday After-Hours Call: Coverage for ER and hospital needs after clinic hours.

About the Opportunity:

Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Urologist to provide locum tenens support encompassing our ambulatory clinic, operating room, and hospital call requirements, including emergent needs. This is a comprehensive opportunity to provide a full spectrum of urological care to an adult patient population.

We are especially seeking candidates who are available to commit to multiple weeks of coverage. This need is critical as our team will soon be down to only two full-time urologists, making weekday availability essential to maintain patient care and service levels.

Need Urologist to support ambulatory clinic, perform OR procedures, and support hospital call and emergent needs. 24 hour call on weekends and after hours call during the week.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting outpatient urology clinic sessions, seeing approximately 18-22 patients per day.
• Performing office-based cystoscopies.
• Performing bread and butter urological procedures in the operating room.
• Providing 24-hour weekend call coverage for the Emergency Room and hospital.
• Providing after-hours weekday call coverage for the Emergency Room and hospital.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the EMR system

Required Procedures:

• Cystoscopy (in office)
• General/Bread and Butter Urology procedures in the OR (please specify if any particular procedures are highly desired or required, e.g., TURP, circumcision, etc.)

Patient Population: Adults Only (No Pediatrics)

Call Coverage:

• Weekends: 24-hour call for ER and hospital.
• Weekdays: After-hours call for ER and hospital.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
