A partner hospital in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This AAHA-accredited practice specializes in canine, feline, and small ruminant care and offers a range of advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiographs and a dedicated surgery suite. With a focus on work-life balance, this clinic is open Monday through Friday only and offers hour-long lunch breaks. Located near the beautiful Sanibel & Captiva Islands, it’s an ideal place to live and work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to patients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate with a skilled clinical team to deliver top-notch service and treatment
• Build strong relationships within the practice and the Fort Myers community
• Foster growth and development of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries and appointments, during open hours
• Educate clients on pet care, health management, and treatment plans

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active, valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Florida (or ability to obtain licensure)
• Strong clinical skills, including diagnostic and surgical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships
