A well-established partner hospital in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This family-owned practice offers comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional medical care for dogs, cats, and small animals
- Perform physical exams, diagnostic tests, surgeries, and anesthesia
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in patients
- Manage emergency medicine cases
- Educate and communicate with clients regarding their pets' health and treatment plans
- Collaborate with a supportive clinical team to ensure the highest level of patient care
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in Florida (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Experience in a variety of clinical settings, including general practice, surgery, and emergency medicine
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to veterinary care
