Gastroenterology Physician

Shift Schedule: 2 weeks per month (Thursday to Thursday) Day: 7 AM 7 PM, Night Call coverage

Description:

• Setting: Inpatient (Level 1 Trauma Center, 385 licensed beds)
• Patient Volume: 20-30 patients on service
• Support Staff: APP support during the day shift (do not take calls)
• EMR: Epic
• Upper & Lower GI Endoscopy
• Colonoscopy (Biopsy & Polyp Excision)
• ERCP
• PEG Tube Placement
• Esophageal Dilation & Manometry
• Note: EUS is not required, but ERCP experience is mandatory

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• GI Fellowship Required
• Active Texas License Required
• ACLS & BLS Certification
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
