Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated, board-certified (or board-eligible) Neurosurgeon to join our dynamic Neurosurgery and Neuroscience team at the Mercy Health Neuroscience Institute. This role offers the opportunity to practice in both hospital and outpatient settings, focusing on the diagnosis and management of a broad range of neurosurgical conditions.
We welcome applications from both experienced and early-career surgeons. Fellowship training is welcomed but not required.
Practice Highlights
- Robust Clinical Practice Busy ambulatory neurosurgery practice with a large internal and external referral base.
- Diverse Case Mix Approximately 75% spine and 25% cranial cases, with exposure to a broad range of pathologies.
- Hospital Coverage Neurosurgery call at St. Vincent Medical Center on a 1:4 rotation. Level 1 Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level II Pediatric Neurosurgery.
- Academic Engagement Neuroscience Clinical Faculty role, including resident education, didactics, multidisciplinary conferences (neuro-oncology, neurovascular, trauma), and grand rounds.

Qualifications
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Fellowship training welcomed but not required
- Commitment to academic teaching and mentoring of residents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
