Provides patient care and diagnosis in all areas of Pediatrics to newborns, children and adolescents
Examines patients to determine the presence of disease and establish preventive health practices
Determines nature and extent of disease or injury
Prescribes and administer medications and immunizations
Precepts medical students and residents in the clinic, newborn nursery and general pediatric ward
Supervises physician assistants in the clinical setting
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Participates in research and scholarly activities within the Department of Pediatrics
Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicines Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
Participates in the education of medical students and residents of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine
