Description:

Position Purpose:

  • The Registered Nurse will be involved with the clinical oversight of clinical work of medical group colleagues .Will be doing clinical oversight of communication.
  • Specialty: OBGYN
  • Location : 3600 Stelzer Road , Suite 220, Columbus, Ohio 43219
  • Hours of office: Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

What You Will Do:

  • Performs as liaison between OBGYN physicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines.
  • Triage patient communication
  • Educates and instructs patients/families on continuity of care, procedures and/ or medications.
  • Provide clinical in-basket oversight and coverage via Epic.
  • Act as a resource/trainer for new Medical Assistant's (clinical staff)
  • Handle sample medication tracking/monitoring/distribution.
  • Complete prior authorizations

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio

Experience: One year experience in a medical office preferred

Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team
